This is an excellent idea. Very well made chanter cap with a moisture control device in the top to keep your reed in top condition. A+ , October 7th, 2008 12:43 pm

I love my piper\'s pal. I do not play as often as I should. The pal keeps the reed workable. I would recommend it. Excellent Reed Protector, October 15th, 2008 11:20 pm

Combining the functionality of a chanter cap with the usefulness of a humidity control system, this product is a must have for any level of piper. It allows the user to enjoy the benefits of the humidity control system while leaving the reed seated in the chanter decreasing the amount of handling the reed is subjected to while keeping it in a playable condition. These features combined with a clean design and high-quality materials make this a great addition to any piper’s case. , October 16th, 2008 01:24 pm

This is a great idea. I can pick up my pipes and play them now. Before I purchased the Pipers Pal, I couldn't. It keeps the reed perfect every time.
