I really like the technochanter. It's nice to take along and practice anywhere. Having the music through earphones is also nice so you won't disturb anyone else. Not for beginners and dont leave the ear phones plugged in or it will drain the battery really fast really convenient, February 17th, 2015 09:48 am By: Dane Thue

This is a cool product when it works. Mine did not always work, and would frustrate me to no end. I even sent it back to the maker and he said it worked fine without doing anything to it (Did keep the money I sent him however to fix it and send it back). Eventually I sold it... maybe it was just me and I have some weird electrical things going on. , July 21st, 2012 11:32 pm By: steven hill
Awesome product! Very portable practice instrument that you can take anywhere. I keep one in my desk at work and probably use it more than any practice chanter I own (which is a blessing and a curse when you have to play a real practice chanter at band practice!). I\'ve also owned the deger pipes as well but I preferred the technochanter due to its portability and it wasn\'t as sensitive to dry fingers. My only complaint would be with the batteries it uses- 3 watch batteries. They last about 6 months usually and are about 5-6 dollars to replace.
