I found they really help with cutoffs, as well as starting in, much easier to strike in as all the air stays in the bag till you hit it. Not a fan of drone plugs, October 30th, 2008 09:39 pm

I'm not a fan of drone plugs and when I did play them, I had harder times starting as you have to overcome the pressure needed to open the flap before air gets to your drone reeds. Same reason it helps with stops. The product is worth 4/5 for quality but it gets 2/5 cause not really helpful all around. , October 5th, 2008 12:39 am

I tried these. They do work well to stop your drones from trailing off if you let off too soon but they do cut down on your drone volume quite a bit, especially your bass. For that reason you have to set up your pipes louder to compensate. Well made and durable however.
