The tuner correctly displays the pitch of chanter to harmonise with the drones while also displaying the note, frequency, calibration frequency and pitch position. It's easy to use for pipers of any standard and makes tuning easy.
It's faster (around 20 milliseconds) in response time, has greater detection compatibility for drones (short bodied bass reeds), the cache clears faster after a note is detected and there's a speaker for the metronome. It also operates on new software platform and is very solid in performance.

I loved the HBT1 and this is even better. Better response on bass drone tuning than first model. Speaker for metronome a great addition. No need to figure out offsets with a standard tuner. Great tool. , April 17th, 2011 08:16 am

I was amazed at how easy it was to uses the HB2 Tuner.I was quickly able to calibrate my chanter then transfer the calibrations to tune the drones. The added benifet of the metronone playing in each apprpiate sound signiture ,2/4,3/4, ect is an emmence help. Excellent producr
