In 2000, Rob designed the Piper's Pal out of necessity. Living on the Canadian Prairies, it was always frustrating trying to keep cane reeds sounding well in the dry climate. Frustration led to the development of an innovative method of maintaining moisture other than daily playing. Thus, the Piper's Pal was born. Its retail debut was at the Canmore Games in Alberta, Canada during the summer of 2001. There was a lot of interest in the product and we began approaching professional pipers to test the product. Numerous professional pipers in Western Canada and Robert Wallace from the College of Piping in Scotland evaluated the product. When the College of Piping decided to carry the product a retail network started and a marketing campaign began.
Rob has been developing and designing other unique products over the years. All products are thoroughly tested and reviewed by professional pipers during their development. We strongly believe in offering unique and superior products that have been thoroughly tested prior to sale.
