It is a good idea to monitor the moisture level in your Piper's Pal Products. The gel should always be squishy. If it is hard and crusty, you need to add water! It is also highly recommended that you replace the materials in your Piper's Pal products

This is one of my all time favorite practice chanter reeds. These seem to go well in just about every practice chanter I try them in. They are quite bold but they can be sanded with very fine sandpaper if you need to take the edge off of them. Very well made and they last forever. Very consistent too. A+++
