Blackwood Kron bagpipes. Imitation ivory projecting mounts, ring caps, and bushings. Plain silver threaded ferrules. Fully combed and beaded. ** Note that these pipes come with a plastic blowpipe, blowpipe stock, and chanter stock - not blackwood. This is standard issue by Kron. Please inquire if you want these pieces to be blackwood as well.
Pipes come as sticks only but include chanter. We recommend set-up to include a Bannatyne hide/synthetic bag with zipper, bag cover, cords, and Kinnaird Carbon Fibre Drone Reeds. We also recommend re-hemping with black waxed hemp, tuning, and testing prior to delivery. Adjustment to blow pipe length is also included if set-up is chosen. I own a Kron Heritage bagpipe and I simply have to say it is the absolute best bagpipe I\'ve ever played in my 20 years of piping. The tone is absolutely outstanding. Just like an old Henderson bagpipe. The quality of the wood and the turning is second to none. Charley Kron is a master craftsman! Every single part is not only glued on but threaded on as well for a lifetime fit. Charely is also extremely careful about selecting his blackwood, only the best makes the cut. No wormholes, small cracks or anything else, just perfection. A+++++
