Now you can enjoy black and tan's from the comfort of your house with this pouring spoon!

Start by selecting your beer. The canned Irish stouts brewed by Guinness, Beamish, and Murphy's work very well with the spoon, and are highly recommended for the top (black) layer. Suggestions for the bottom (tan) layer range from Bass Ale, Harp Lager, Pilsner, Amber Ale, to Champagne. Experimentation is essential!

Simply chill the beer, then half-fill each pint glass with the bottom (tan) beverage. Pour a good head: this "liberates" the C02 from the beer. Hold the spoon above the rim of the glass, and steadily pour the Irish stout over the pouring spoon to form the top layer.

Enjoy the attributes of both beers individually - and simultaneously - in the same glass!
