I've tied/retied in a few of my pipe bags using waxed round nylon, cord that came with pipes and this product.
I tied in an L&M Scotian with this product a year ago and have used the pipes since for practices, parades and competitions without any problems.
The cord grabbed well, was easy to wind tight and tied off with no problems. Save your money, January 18th, 2011 11:53 am

Not a fan of this product - it tends to cut hide bags under pressure which can lead to leaks. A simple and cheaper solution is to use waxed mason's twine. , September 20th, 2010 08:34 am
