I really like using these when oiling my pipes because I can coat the mop liberally with oil and all the fibers let me get into every nook and cranny of my drones. The only disadvantage of these brushes is that they can leave fibers stuck in your wood. So I don't use these on old pipes that have lots of rough surfaces, for those pipes I like the pull through swabs also available on this site. But I highly recommend these brushes for newer pipes with very smooth bores! A must have maintenance item! A+++

I use one of these brushes to dry my drones before I put my pipes away every time. They also work great for oiling and cleaning your bores.
