Description

Dunbar DB2's Bagpipes

African Blackwood bagpipes with threaded imitation ivory projecting mounts, ring caps and bushings with plain threaded metal ferrules and are fully beaded and combed. The metal ferrules are available in either stainless steel, aluminum alloy or brass.

Pipes come as sticks only, no chanter. We recommend set-up to include a Bannatyne hide/synthetic bag with zipper, bag cover, cords, and Kinnaird Carbon Fibre Drone Reeds. We also recommend re-hemping with black waxed hemp, tuning, and testing prior to delivery. Adjustment to blow pipe length is also included if set-up is chosen.

All custom orders are non-refundable.

I just ended up buying this same set from a local music shop for a discount too
Good to walk away from. I'm very impressed with the tone of these pipes. I re-helped them and set them up with a new bag and drone reeds and took them off to band practice. They would make a great starter set. I'll be competing with them this year! They stay in tune quite well.
