African Blackwood bagpipes with threaded imitation ivory ferrules, projecting mounts, ring caps and bushings. They are fully beaded and combed.
Pipes come as sticks only, no chanter. We recommended set-up to include a Bannatyne hide/synthetic bag with zipper, bag cover, cords, and Kinnaird Carbon Fibre Drone Reeds. We also recommend re-hemping with black waxed hemp, tuning, and testing prior to delivery. Adjustment to blow pipe length is also included if set-up is chosen.

These pipes have a very classic look and the classic pre-war Henderson sound. They will play a variety of drone reeds and they are not picky in this or any respect. Dunbar provides incredible costumer service. The ferrules, mounts, drone caps, and bushes are threaded for a very secure fit. If you to sound like a champion, buy Dunbar! , October 5th, 2008 12:18 am

Dunbars were my first set of bagpipes and they served me very well for many years. Excellently made and they sound great! No issues at all. Everything\'s threaded on too so you never have to worry about anything falling apart on you.
