Hearing Protection Ear Plugs

These ear plugs are specifically designed for musicians.
They do not alter the character of the sound, only the volume.  Professional quality.

ETYPlugs are the world’s highest fidelity non-custom earplugs.
ETYPlugs are available in two sizes, standard-fit and large-fit.

Changes to Size Designation as of October 2010:
Small earplugs have now been renamed "Standard" (blue earplugs).
Regular earplugs have now been renamed "Large" (white earplugs).

All ears are different, but these two sizes fit almost 100% of ear canals.
Studies showed that the smaller of the two sizes fits the majority of ears and is now designated as "standard fit. "
Ear canal size cannot be predicted by the appearance of the outer ear, or by a person’s physical size, age or gender.

Yes, you can get cheaper ear plugs, but these allow you to hear far more clearly while still reducing the volume. They can be a little tricky to insert, I find I need to grab the top of my ear while inserting these, and it helps if they are moistened before insertion (condensation from a cold beverage is enough). They took a bit of getting used to as they are a little more snug in my ears than some other kinds, but totally worth it for the clarity.

great for when you are playing in an arena or small indoor area. you won't have to suffer from that silly ringing in your ears afterwards.

I switched to these from the much higher tech 'ball o' cotton' last year. It is remarkable how they reduce the volume without making the sound overly muddy. I had been considering custom made plugs at my doctors recommendation, but they are great at a fraction of the price.

I use ear plugs every time I play my pipes. They lower the volume while still allowing the user to hear the tone. These are great.

These thing are great. They also come in a slightly smaller size called Baby Blue for those little people out there. Good for playing indoors as it not only saves your hearing but cuts out all the reverb so it sounds more like you are playing outside. Will make you a better piper because you hear all the little details as opposed to being bombarded by lots of sound.

Excellent ear plugs. The piper can still hear well to play, however their hearing is saved.

These are excellent ear plugs. You really can still hear your drones, just lower in volume! Save your hearing and still be able to tune.
